Having hugely benefited myself from sports massage treatments in the past I trained and qualified with a BTEC Level 5 in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy in 2018 and am a member of the soft tissue therapists governing body (SMA). I am passionate about the positive impact this type of clinical, targeted massage can have and I enjoy working with anyone, from professional sports teams, those with general aches and pains from daily movements, the elderly and individuals that are getting into or regularly exercise for fitness or leisure. Having specialised in sports and remedial massage therapy I have a wide range of tools in my armoury - from deep tissue and general massage to soft tissue release and friction (which work wonders with soft tissue sprains and strains). Neuromuscular techniques are fantastic for those clients that have short and tight muscles that are as much to do with day to day posture as they are to do with any gym workout. Every treatment is tailored to the client, no two treatments or bodies are the same. I treat a wide range of clients, these include,
Elite athletes to assist with their pre, post and inter event recovery regimes.
Those that work out regularly and want to maintain mobility and flexibility in their soft tissue as part of a prehab routine.
Clients that have injured themselves and require soft tissue therapy to assist in the optimal repair of those damaged tissues.
Those that have a chronic pain or niggle that remedial massage therapy helps to relieve.
Office workers that have restricted movement or discomfort in their neck, shoulders or hips from a constantly seated position at work.
Clients that just want a relaxing but effective massage.
Elderly clients that want to keep mobile and are wary of techniques that may be too aggressive for them.
Maintenance treatments for clients that want to keep on top of their wellbeing as part of their self care routine.
